PELVIC HEALTH CLASSES

Brighton Pilates Studio’s pre and postnatal specialist and massage therapist Hayley Oxley runs regular Pelvic Health class leading you on your way through to regain the strength of your pelvis.

Hayley’s method seamlessly combines Pilates technique with the latest research in core and pelvic health. Release tension holding patterns and strengthen in a fun, informative and educational way dispelling some of the myths and fears of regaining pelvic floor health.

You are welcome to drop into this class. We recommend regular attendance in cases of diastasic recti, pelvic pain, pelvic floor disfunction as well as postnatal recovery. Commitment is necessary to bring up change and results can only be achieved from regular attendance.

PILATES + OSTEOPATHY

Book a session with our osteopath Briar Harvie and benefit from the structural adjustment of Osteopathy in combination with the alignment and precision of Pilates. This is the ideal environment to readjust the pelvis from the challenges of pregnancy and birth and re-educate stability in a safe and effective way.

Briar Harvie,  method seamlessly combines cranial and structural osteopathy with guided Pilates. The key principles of both centre around the body functioning in an integrated manner, improving movement efficiency and reducing stress on the joints.

YOUR OWN PROGRAMME ON THE PILATES EQUIPMENT

Benefit from a safe and challenging workout on the Pilates equipment while receiving a level of instructor attention usually only offered in private sessions. With a maximum of 4 people per class this is the perfect class for your post-rehabilitation and enhancing your movement performance. Unlike other pilates equipment circuit classes, these sessions are tailored to your own needs. A postural and fitness test will be undertaken in an initial one to one session to identify goals and focus areas.

Please note an initial one to one session needs to be booked previous to you starting your classes.
