Pilates group classes
Our fitness-based and dynamic movement classes include Pilates Mat, Reformer, Spring wall and Pilates Barre. These are small group classes of a maximum of 7 people guiding you through a energising full body workout with the maximum attention.
The added use of the spring and or reformer as well as the mat in these classes will enrich your movement with a faster achievement of strength, flexibility and movement integration to your practice. Spring tension can be changed according to the individual and class level whether that be extra support or a bigger challenge!
The timetable of group classes includes 30 classes in our Hove studio and you are welcome to attend any class on the same pass. Memberships are also available.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONSPilates (Mat + Reformer)
A high-energy class that provides a full body workout using the Pilates Repertoire. This class incorporates mat work, spring resistance from the Pilates reformer as well as props such as balls, bands and foam rollers. This combined approach is dynamic and creative, challenging the body to find new movement resulting in greater awareness of alignment and posture and improved co-ordination, strength and flexibility.
Options to work with less or more advanced versions of the exercises will always be given so you can work at an appropriate pace and level for your body.

This specialised machine has been designed to transform your Pilates experience and maximise potential. Ride it for a full body workout that increases your flexibility while providing strength from within.
The assistance and resistance of the springs will transform your Pilates workout into a dynamic flow of high intensity and strengthening movements. Classes are a maximum of 6 people, giving you the maximum attention to detail.
Our prenatal group class will help you increase your energy and aid a quicker postnatal recovery while maintaining your maximum health and fitness during pregnancy. We recommend that you are at least 12 weeks pregnant before you join this class.
WHICH LEVEL?If you have never tried any Pilates before, we do advise you start off with a private session (check out our starter packages here.) this way you’ll be already familiar with some of the terminology and the basic principles before joining a group class.
For anyone new to Pilates or wanting to work at a slower pace and develop a deeper understanding of alignment and articulation.
An open level class including a greater range of exercises and repertoire. Great for exploring new movement and building muscle endurance. These classes are suitable for everyone.
For those experienced with Pilates (and our MOVE+ classes) wanting to take their workout to the next level and work at a faster pace and intensity.
Please note only our Reformer and Barre classes are levelled.
